The Audi R8 Spider is expected to hit the showrooms in mid 2009, to drive more sales on the already sold out R8 coupe. Audi has not yet revealed any details of images of the spider R8. A reader from Germancarscene named Marcel de Graff has generated this rendering. We don’t think that R8 Spider will be a convertible and actually will be a Targa just like its German friend, 911 Targa S.
